UPDATE: I've been living 2+ years now with my PRC and suffer from very little pain and almost only when I "overuse" my left hand. My right wrist has happily not yet progressed, so I'm just careful - and grateful!

Thank you, Fiona, for sharing your frank and touching KD story. I've just been diagnosed - Dr. came in and said "you have KD - you can find out about it on the internet - see you in three weeks." His mannerisms are eerily similar to what you described your Dr. D being. Needless to say, I'm getting a second opinion with a hand surgeon next week. I could totally relate to your frustrations. I'm hoping that at least with this next doctor I won't leave angrier and more frustrated than when I went in. LOL! Thanks again, Toni
I'm sorry to hear of your diagnosis and I sincerely hope you find a compassionate, competent doctor and/or surgeon. They are rarer than I realized! Take good care.
